This is why most people would support uniforms worn in schools, as they consider that this is in the best interest of students and in the best interest of society as a whole. It is actually difficult to picture a working environment where individuals would be allowed to express themselves freely through their clothing. However, such environments actually exist, as there are employers who are more interested in how their employees think rather than in how they look. This should also apply in the case of schools and teachers should actually get actively involved in encouraging children to wear clothing that reflects their personal identity.
